Junkyard Empire, the Minneapolis-based 5-piece with a focus on political content and aggressive hip hop-jazz feel, have a new EP coming this fall, Rebellion Politik, on the LA start-up label, MediaRoots. Never shy about a conflict, JE tackles topics like the Israeli-Palestine conflict and Manifest Destiny. Just try not to shake your fist while listening to this stuff.
