- San Fran indie foursome My First Earthquake are sharing their new holiday track, “Holiday Sweaters.” The group had a big 2009, including a new album (Downstairs)
My First Earthquake : “Holiday Sweaters” (mp3) - Jon Troast‘s new full-length album, Living Room, drops January 19, 2010. This ballad came out of the Nashville recording sessions.
Jon Troast : “The Last Needle” (mp3) - Toronto-based seven piece orchestral pop group Ohbijou crafted an homage to Wham!’s “Last Christmas.”
Ohbijou : “Last Christmas” (mp3) - DC’s Middle Distance Runner are sharing their new song “Holiday (Be Good To Me).”
Middle Distance Runner : Holiday (Be Good to Me) (mp3)” - Nashville-based folk singer-songwriter Jessie Baylin recently wed Kings of Leon drummer Nate Followill, but in the weeks prior to the ceremony, wrote this track.
Jessie Baylin : “Mrs. Christmas” (mp3) - DC-based indie-folk duo Vandaveer (aka Mark Heidinger and Rose Guerin) originally recorded and released in these holiday classics on their 2007 EP, VNDVR – XMSEP. Their new album, Divide and Conquer, is in stores now on Supply & Demand Music.
