WHOA. This is insane. Duluth, Minnesota-based Dirty Knobs sent us a link to their eight hour instrumental, ambient stream, and I’m pretty sure I’m in love with this.
Thick, brooding and unforgiving, Field Recordings from the Edge of Hell is an interactive sonic canvas experiment, custom colored by the listener’s current emotional state. Mine is black with red and a twinge of yellow.
But in full transparency, I’m only 48 minutes into it. I’ll have to check back in about seven hours…
