This morning I’m spinning The New Mastersounds‘ new full-length, Breaks From the Border, on Tallest Man Records.
This album is truly a gem. The Northern England Soul scene outfit craft funk-filled jams and a wailing organ reminscent of their blues-inspired forefathers like Traffic and Cream.

The UK group recorded the album at Sonic Ranch studios outside Tornillo, Texas, and it’s the first of seven albums to have vocals by the band members.
