Whose Tuesday doesn’t need some Watussi?

All the way from Stockholm, Sweden, just sent me this cover of Harmonia’s “Watussi,” and I’m really digging on it.

At nearly 6 minutes, it’s a head bobbing workhorse – featuring swirling drums, bells and piercing tones that make it hard for me to form complete sentences.

The track was just released on Swedish label Airwaves Music and their compilation “Für Immer”. Für Immer is homage to Micheal Rother, released when Rother did a couple of shows in Sweden with NEU! 2010.
