’s new album, Never Better, hits stores today.
Although I’m not traditionally a fan of rap or hip-hop, I’m highly recommending Never Better for its nu-metal instrumentation and driving drums — particularly on tracks like “Drumroll (We’re All Thirsty)” that make my trunk thump even without a giant sub back there.
Here’s the video for that track:
The artwork, with its interchangeable transparencies, is also very cool and even more of a reason to actually buy a legitimate copy.
Check out the new tracks live on February 28, 2009 at Minneapolis’ First Avenue.

Good call. I admittedly didn’t know much about P.O.S. until yesterday. Wound up buying it on iTunes. I like the nu-metal reference. A couple songs had some riffs that reminds me of the Deftones.
