Carney, more than little hands and the stench of cabbage

I spun ’s debut album, Mr. Green Volume 1, on my commute earlier this week, and was intrigued by the wide gap in genres and quality of the production. Lead singer Reeve Carney fluctuates between Chris Cornell, Brian May and Jason Mraz throughout the album – which was at first off-putting and then welcomed.

I’m told Reeve was handpicked to portray Peter Parker in the upcoming Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark with music composed by U2’s Bono and The Edge. Personally, I hope the production features lions and bearded ladies.
